2020 community grant announced by the Kishwaukee Sunrise Rotary.

The Kishwaukee Sunrise Rotary is proud to announce the fourth edition of their community grant designed to impact the children, youth and families of DeKalb County. The Kishwaukee Sunrise Rotary Community Grant for Children, Youth and Families (Rotary CYF Grant) is now accepting applications from eligible organizations (501(c)(3) or a recognized government agency) from now until June 30, 2020. While we normally award $10,000 in grant funds, the impacts of COVID-19 have limited our fundraising efforts. This year we will be committing to support a $5,000 grant, which will go to one or more recipients whose project will positively and directly impact the lives and well-being of children, youth and/or families in DeKalb County. If more funds are raised before awards are made, we will increase the total amount awarded by as much as we can.

This initiative was created based on the Kishwaukee Sunrise Rotary Club's desire to focus their fundraising and community service efforts in a specific area where the need is great. It is their desire to make this an annual grant that continues to impact the lives of children, youth and families for years to come. You can help by spreading word to any non-profit organizations that have projects in this area of focus. Want to help more and get behind this important initiative? Come to our club meeting on any Tuesday morning at the Lincoln Inn Restaurant in DeKalb and learn how.

More details and the grant application can be found in the upper left corner of the homepage under "CYF Grant Documents".
